Professional Responsibilities
Carl Stevens is a shareholder in Davis Schilken, PC. He has more than 40 years of experience as an attorney and is licensed before the Colorado Supreme Court, Oklahoma Supreme Court, United States District Courts in Colorado and Oklahoma, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Judicial Circuit and the U. S. Tax Court. Mr. Stevens practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, business succession planning, elder law, trust/estate administration, estate planning for oil and gas mineral owners and probate litigation.

Legislative Activities
As an active member of the Statutory Revisions Committee of the Trust and Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association he participates in drafting proposed estate planning laws for submission to the legislature and has testified before Colorado legislative committees in regard to trust, probate and tax legislation.

Carl Stevens frequently speaks and teaches on estate planning topics to the public and for training other attorneys, CPAs, financial and insurance professionals.
