Asseting Integration/Funding

Asset Integration, also called Funding, is the process of getting property into a trust. The two main ways to do this are re-titling and by using beneficiary designations. If your assets are not properly funded to your trust, your trust is empty. An empty trust may not accomplish the goals you had in mind when the trust was originally created. At Davis Schilken, PC we have team members dedicated to the funding of trusts, a service most law firms do not offer.

What You Need

For a complete list of the information we need you to provide in order to correctly fund your assets, please click the link: Funding Checklist

What to Expect

  • Our funding work is billed on a unit-rate fixed fee basis. We will be happy to provide you with whatever level of funding assistance you desire.
  • We will create a detailed matrix which lists all of your assets and our recommended funding of those assets.

Proper funding of your trust can reduce or avoid probate costs and increase property control and the coordinated management of assets.

Funding Table

The following table is a general guide for titling assets. We recommend that you consult with a qualified attorney prior to funding your trust.
