Pet Trusts

When you are no longer able to care for your pets, can you be sure that they will be provided the same level of love and care that you have so willingly provided? Just as you have carefully planned for your children and loved ones, you should also consider planning for your pets.

We work closely with pet owners to integrate their wishes for the care of their pets in their estate planning. Appropriate planning can ensure that in the event of your disability, death, or other emergency, your pets will be cared for as you desire. You can choose your pet’s caregiver and provide detailed instructions regarding your pet’s medical condition and healthcare, exercise and dietary needs, and daily routines. You can also protect money in trust with a separate Trustee to be used specifically for a pet’s care and to provide a secondary manager for your pet’s caretaker.
